ROC/FloBoss for Production Applications, Course 1001 (PDF)
 
This Vinson Process Controls Company course is for technicians, engineers, operators, and others responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and gathering data using ROCLINK 800 and Fisher® Flow Computers. The primary focus of this course is to provide comprehensive experience in gas production installations.

Overview: This 3-1/2 day course provides fundamental skills necessary to:
• Install and correctly terminate power and grounding and signal wiring to a Fisher Flow Computer on production settings
• Configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot a Fisher Flow Computer for AGA measurement and control for gas production
• Install, configure, and optimize Production Applications used to control production wells
• Gather, analyze, and store historical data and configuration files

This course provides maximum hands-on time with Fisher 809 Flow Computers and ROCLINK800Hands-On Training software.

Prerequisites: A good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and a general concept of gas measurement and production.

This Vinson Process Controls Company course is for technicians, engineers, operators and others responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and gathering data using ROCLINK 800 and Fisher Flow Computers. The primary focus of this course is to provide comprehensive experience in gas pipeline measurement installations.

Overview: This 3-1/2 day course provides fundamental skills necessary to:
• Install and correctly terminate power and grounding and signal wiring to a Fisher Flow Computer on transmission settings
• Configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot a Fisher Flow Computer for AGA measurement and control of multiple meter run settings
• Install, configure, and optimize Gas Chromatograph, Run Switching, and Logic Interfaces
• Gather, analyze, and store historical data and configuration files

This course provides maximum hands-on time with Fisher 809 Flow Computers and ROCLINK800 software.

Advanced Applications and SCADA Integration, Course 2001 (PDF)

This Vinson Process Controls Company course is for technicians, engineers, operators, and others responsible for advanced control applications and SCADA communications and integration. The primary focus of this course is to provide comprehensive experience in advanced control for multiple applications and integration into SCADA.

Overview: This 3-1/2 day course provides fundamental skills necessary to:
• Configure advanced PID control for both analog and discrete control applications
• Build specialized logic control using Function Sequence Tables (FST)

This Vinson Process Controls Company course is for operators, production foremen, well engineers and instrument technicians responsible for configuring and tuning artificial lift systems for gas wells and tank measurement and inventory. The primary focus of this course is to provide comprehensive experience in gas well automation and control.

Course Times/Meals
: Courses 1001, 1002 & 2001 will begin at 1:00 PM Monday and finish 4:00 PM on Thursday. Lunch will be provided Tuesday - Thursday.
Course 3001 will begin on Monday at 1:00 PM and finish 4:00 Tuesday. Lunch will be provided on Tuesday.

ROC 809 and FB107 Flow Computers will be used in the training furnished by Vinson Process Controls Company, LP. Upgrades to ROCLINK800 will be available to licensed users if required. Laptop and LOI cable to be furnished by each student.

Registration Deadline/Payment Information: 2 weeks prior to course start date. Purchase order/payment is required at time of enrollment, credit cards accepted.

Cancellations: You may cancel your reservation up to 14 days prior to the start of the course without incurring a cancellation charge. Limited enrollment makes it necessary to charge 50% of the full tuition for cancellations received during the 14 days prior to start of the course and full tuition for failure to attend without canceling. Substitutions are accepted until the first day of class. Vinson Process Controls Company, LP reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to insufficient students with a full refund to registered students. Any necessary cancellations will be announced a minimum of 72 hours prior to the start of class.
